  • Starting pay range is $27.00 per hour (based on experience)
  • Hiring/Relocation bonus of $1,500.00.

We are proud to facilitate changes in infant/toddler development and family life through a multidisciplinary approach to client care. Amigo Baby has been the leading provider of pediatric therapy in the Central Coast of California for the last 19 years. We have a multidisciplinary private practice looking for a Full-time individual with a Bachelors in Child Development or human related field to support the needs of our growing organization

Entree position is welcome, as our experienced team will provide any mentoring and guidance needed.

How You'll Succeed Here:

  • Providing developmental services in a play-based approach for a caseload of children ages birth to 3 in the home environment
  • Providing parent education and home programs related to treatment goals as based on the result of developmental milestones
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary team inclusive of Child Development Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Service Coordinators, Physicians and family
  • Completing biannual progress reports utilizing standardized developmental assessment tools to record delays in the developmental milestones and setting goals to reach milestone outcomes
  • Support and facilitate each child's progress through developmental milestones, increase opportunities for inclusion and enhance trusted caregiver-child relationships
  • Utilize effective and professional communication skills
  • Submit documentation and signatures on a daily basis
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Participate in Monthly Reflective Supervision

How You Shine From Others:

  • Bachelors in Child Development or human related field
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current TB test
  • Current Physical and no restrictions for physical activities as is required for the job
  • Desire to work with clients in home setting
  • Pediatric experience is a plus!
